Painting

this weekend Danny and I went up to Beaverton to help Paint the trim on my sisters house. They've been trying to get it painted since last year!!! So It was nice to finally get it done! We had a lot of fun getting to spend the whole weekend with them, I dont really get to see my sister very much and when I do its usually with all my family so we dont get to really spend one on one time with each other so it was nice to be able to catch up on whats going on in life and everything else that was on our mind.
every thing turned out really good...It took longer then we expected but Jessie and I weren't really able to help because there wasn't enough ladders, so we did the little odd jobs like the shelves and doors and planter things.But we did finish every thing before we left!!

Riding my bike

So a while back Danny and I decided to get some bikes so we could get out and get some good exercise with each other, well with the weather being so crazy here in Oregon we have only been ably to ride them a few times :( but, as I was at work today all I could think about was how nice it was going to be to get home and get out in this beautiful weather and ride with Danny.... To my disappointment I had to stay and hour later then I usually do on Thursdays, so Danny went riding with Jordan before I got home.... I was so sad when he told me he had gone. So he went around the neighborhood with me once! What a sweet heart to go again for me :) but I still wanted to go longer. I called up Lorraine and she came right over to go with me :) I'm so thankful to have friends and sisters in the faith... I love you all... Thanks Lorraine for making my day better :D It was so nice just to get out in the sunshine with the nice breeze blowing while riding....Sometimes I feel like all I do is sit inside all day long so when the weathers good I love to get out side!!!

Sisters trip

So we all had a great time at the house, it was nice to just get out and relax and spend time with each other. We also did get something constructive done :) we planed for our church camp !!! We did have some girls sick and none of us got a lot of sleep but we all had a blast! 5 of us girls got to go down to the pool and swim it was nice to have sis Brittany with us, Im so glad she's doing so well.

James did not want to eat the summer sausage, he just kept poking it and slaping it lol I dont think he realized it was eatable!!

ahhh the kitchen was so nice. but we did soooooooooo many loads in the dish washer, it was fun making all the food though.








The house we stayed at was right by a golf course......this was the chicken egg (golf ball) Abby found while we were on a walk around the yard and running from the lion it the bush ( car engine) she love it so much she wouldnt put it down!!

Trip to Idaho

So last Friday we headed up to Idaho for the weekend, We went with Sis. Raine (Lorraine) and didnt get in till 3:30 am we were soooooooo tired!!!! Saturday night lorraine and I went to a sisters night and Danny stayed at Bro. Marks for a guys bbq. We had so much fun with the girls singing karaoke It was hilarious when Sis. Crystal sang the wind beneath my wings :) Any way it was just nice to be able to get to see our sweet sisters from Idaho.... We had to leave sunday so it was a fast trip and we didnt get to see a lot of people but we are hoping to come back in July for 5 days!!!

Im a mermaid !!!!

last night I was looking at a book about mermaids which made me think of a really cute thing that happed at work!..... I had taken a group of girls back to the bathroom one little girl started telling us about her fishing trip, she then went into detail about how there was a shark chasing her. All the girls started to add stuff like "when I was in the pool a shark tried to bite me. or I can swim faster then any shark" and so on. So I decided to join in. I looked at them and said "you wanna know what? When I get in the water...I...turn into............a MERMAID!!! At that they all gasped and looked at me with open mouths, then they started asking wow how do you do that? Can we do that, does it happen every time? I was trying really hard not to laugh as I told them it was magic and every time my feet touched the water I would turn into a mermaid..finally I just started laughing. then a 4 yr. old look at me and said your just kidding aren't you Mrs. Kristen. I had to tell them the truth some laughed but most the 3-5 year old little girls looked truly disappointed that their teacher could not turn herself into a mermaid!! I just love how children truly believe that anything is possible!!! It's so sweet!
